Sands Agricultural Fits Mobile TV Display Screen To Crop-Sprayer

Thomas Sands, Director of Sands Agricultural Machinery contacted Aqualite with a unique use for an Aqualite High Brightness LCD TV. He wanted a large screen to mount on one of his brand new Horizon agricultural crop-sprayers.

Sands Agricultural Machinery celebrates its 40th Anniversary this year, founded in 1975 when the company introduced the very first Self-Propelled Forward Control Crop Sprayer to the UK.

In the intervening 40 years, Sands have gone on to become proud British manufacturers of high performance self-propelled crop sprayers, with ranges from 3,000-5,500 litres capacity.

All products feature unrivalled standard specifications with optional dual ride and automatic headland boom lift with Boom widths ranging from 12m – 40m.

Thomas explained further, “We worked hard on a high quality promotional video showing off our very latest machinery and its state of the art technology. We wanted the best content possible for our new screen. During the show, the new video served as a great sales tool, allowing our visitors to see our new products in a central area on our stand, allowing visitors to enjoy refreshments and talk to us at their leisure”

“I had looked in detail for the best screen for our outdoor application, and after talking to Aqualite’s Managing Director, Kim Menen, he convinced me that their screen was the one to go for. Kim went the extra mile and even explained that I could return the screen if I wasn’t completely satisfied!”
